TRIUMPH TR6 COOLING SYSTEM,  FACTS OR FICTION.                    

Over Heating Problems with the Tr6 Engine.

1.  Bad Radiator, Or Block Needs Flushing

2. I recommend removing the Thermostat For Summer Driving.  There is a Restrictor Hole in the Water Pump Housing.

3. You Can Set Back The Engine Fan About 1 Inch For More Space Between Fan and Radiator.

4. Of Course Alway Have Anti Freeze In the Engine,  At Least a 50 50 Mix.

5. If You Have A Cracked Valve Seat,  Your Engine Will Run HOT.

6. My Favorite Temp For My Engine At The Race Track Is 145 to 175 Degrees Farenheit.

7. I Now Machine The Aluminum Pulley For The Aluminum Water Pump Available From Restorations.
